Stream a DVD to any TV?

Is it possible to use a PI in some fashion to stream a DVD player to TVs in the house. I have spare PIs available. The TVs I am interested in have nVidia Shields connected and/or Fire Sticks. Scenario I am imagining is playing a DVD on the headless DVD player and watching the video on any other TVs I just mentioned. This would be like the video version of Sonos for music.
