I'm looking for guys out there with similar interests and hobbies who would like to have clean, intelligent and engaging conversations with some regularity. I'm really seeking people who want actual friends, rather than those who just need a short term or fairly anonymous fix. I'm open to phone and video chats and meeting later on. I'm genuine, open and honest. I'm single, without kids, and would prefer to chat to those with the same lifestyle. No age requirements, but generational differences really are a thing.

I always have lots happening in my life and I love getting to share it outside my normal friendship groups. Most of the time I can be found doing food related things like cooking, going to markets and food festivals, or trying new restaurants; road tripping and exploring; listening to music and dancing; playing with my dogs; going to concerts and other events; movies, especially 80s action; strength training; and playing board games with friends. You can expect a lot of photos of all of the above.

I am a voracious conversationalist and enjoying joking around as much as long discussions about life topics. I have an irreverent sense of humour, I swear a lot and I'm mostly always happy and enthusiastic because I truly do love life and everything in it. As I said, I am really looking for genuine friends to share my life with, who want the same. I am easy to get along with, pragmatic, realistic, funny, kind and warm.

Some things we definitely won't connect on include politics, sexting, gaming (unless you want to talk about how good Monkey Island and SimCity were), anime, kids, drugs or camping (ha, you can camp but don't hate on me for enjoying the luxury of fixed accommodations). I'm looking for people quite similar to me, so if our communication styles don't gel, our conversation will probably just fade away.

I'm happy to swap pics as soon as we start chatting and you can just ditch me if attraction is important to you and you don't vibe with me (though I'm not hideous, I promise!). I try to respond to everyone, but please do make the effort to introduce yourself properly. This is especially important if you have a suspect NSFW history, because I'm really not into that and sometimes it makes me decline the chat.
