Hi there,
Currently on holiday and have found myself on the Gold Coast. It's about as far away from my typical haunt to feel different, and it does look/feel different compared to when I was last here eight years ago.
Looking for someone local to the GC to spend time with in person this week that's up for some good banter that will invariably lead into sprawling conversational pieces. My interests are many and have quite the depth to them, so if you're someone who enjoys a good convo or is looking to share stories of their own: you're the exact kind of person that I'm looking for.
I enjoy meeting and learning about others as there's always something new to be learned from the people around you. I wouldn't consider this to be a "lead-in" to something more; but more like a good primer for the two of us to ignite/reignite our respective dating lives'. Of course, there's no telling where things may go, so I'm open to all possibilities 😊 In saying that: I like to keep a certain degree of emotional maturity about me, so I hope you'll be able to do the same.
Anyway, about me: 29/M from NZ but I live in AU (Sydney) and have done so for a good five years now. Physically, I still look like someone who plays rugby. Senior consultant/lead engineer at an IT firm (actual IT btw - I'm not one of those "IT" guys who has only ever worked internal roles) that is financially secure and well-versed in maintaining personal finances. Although I shy away from it, my company knows that I'm "the man" you want if communication is critical for a particular client matter. Served in the military for a spell, which feels like a lifetime ago now. My favourite recording artist is Lana Del Rey. That last one may be somewhat controversial, but all I'll say is that I have nothing but appreciation for someone who is comfortable in who they are and how they express themselves.
Happy to chat via voice or messaging etc first (I'd actually encourage it tbh) or at least take things to DMs so we can talk in a more private setting. After that - maybe a coffee at a local cafe and feel it out from there? Or maybe lunch at some restaurant in Surfers? Whatever the answer is: I hope we can find that out together.
