Welcome welcome! You're here because you're an NJ Redditor and want to connect, meet, and possibly more (whatever that may be) with other NJ Redditors! It's hard enough to make a connection online, regardless of the platform you use. It's even harder and disillusioning when the person you think you've been chatting with turns out to be completely fake.

And by fake, I don't mean the person told you they like Taylor Ham on their bagel and then on a date with them, they order Pork Roll. I'm talking about the people who steal Instagram pics and pretend they're someone else. That's just one example. Many of you probably could write your own books about how you were taken advantage of in your journey to find an activity partner.

As this sub's creator, my goal is to try to give you guys a solid sub-reddit to find a date, a hiking partner, a friend with benefits, or someone to walk your dog with while not having to worry if the person you're chatting with wants your social security number. I can't promise I'll block every bad actor that comes to this sub, but I'll make my best effort and hopefully find other like minded people who will want to help.
