I'm looking for someone to have a jam on digital instruments with, that's where it starts and where it ends - totally platonic in nature. I already have a love interest that I am committed to.
I have a fair bit of equipment, but what's missing at the moment is the spontaneity and fun that comes from an in person jam. Preferably you'll be located in the west, or wouldn't mind a commute to Footscray.
Not exactly looking to start a band or start gigging, this is purely for fun and who knows what the future holds.
About me: 32, Caucasian, father to a cute small dog, have a few synths, drum machines, analogue gear, digital gear, guitars, a kemper, semi-decent home studio setup. Enjoy listening to and creating a wide variety of music, I'm not super into rap but if you're a rapper, maybe we can make some beats and collaborate. I don't drink much, maybe like 2 beers a month socially - but don't care if you want to drink to loosen up and break ice.
About you: between 25 and 40, any gender, I'd get along with someone in a similar age bracket but willing to keep it broad, musically open minded, own a piece of gear that you want to bring along. Not afraid to experiment with different sounds and keys.
I think it would be fun to just sync some gear up with midi or the beatstep and make some noise.
Specific gear I own to see if we could work well together:
Behringer edge (analog percussion synth - similar to the moog dfam but imo (controversially) is superior)
Behringer rd9 drum machine
Behringer poly d synth
Volca bass
Kemper floor profiler
Digital piano
Beatstep pro
A couple of microphones, shire and audio technica
Many guitars
A bass
Focusrite 8i6 gen3
A variety of random percussive instruments
Kazoos
Fuzz factory
Whammy dt
Kaoss pad kp2.
Let's collaborate and have some fun
