Hi, I am searching for someone very specific. I am not trying to force anyone into being what I want. It's more like I am putting my advertisement out for this specific person and if it's a shoe that happens to fit for you, great! If it doesn't fit for you, no problem.

I am a 39 year old female and becoming very set in my ways and less "changeable" as the years pass, meaning that I am unable to change myself in order to please other people, even if it means living single. That being said, I'll describe to you what a life with me might be like. Suppose we wake up from our comfortable, clean bed and turn on our (or my) purple LED lights in the room. I absolutely adore LED lights and I have tons of them. I might turn on some Goth music and we enjoy the atmosphere for a while. Then we get up and have breakfast with coffee. We're both vegetable lovers so you don't mind that I just put tomatoes, mushrooms and onions in our egg scramble. You're pretty open minded when it comes to food. You love food and you don't complain much about it. You like to cook sometimes.

We're watching an episode of The Twilight Zone during breakfast because I love The Twilight Zone and I hope you do too. Or maybe we'll watch a Disney movie, or Titanic, or Breakfast at Tiffany's. We share similar tastes in movies and television and we're both a little artsy (thought not pretentious) when it comes to TV and film. You don't mind watching old black and white movies or Indie films and you don't mind watching the same movies over, even two or three days in a row.

As you might have guessed, I have some tendencies that might be described as "Autistic" or on the spectrum. I don't think I'm Autistic honestly, but hey, watching movies over and over for days in a row or months might seem a little odd to some folks. Again, I don't consider myself Autistic or even on the spectrum, but let's face it: I'm a little weird sometimes. Just putting that out there so you know what you're getting yourself into.

Perhaps after breakfast I'm on a gaming binge today and I'll play a Zelda video game or World of Warcraft for the next 10 hours and that doesn't bother you because you like gaming too or you have hobbies of your own that you can occupy yourself with. You don't get bored easy because---hey---we have super amazing awesome LED lights and life is fun and great! Did I mention the super awesome LED lights?

Maybe I feel like reading a book today or building a robot (because I ordered some robotics kit off the internet last week). Or maybe we'll go for a walk or visit an art museum or some community event. I adore the ballet and I love to go to artsy types of performances like symphonies and music events, maybe even operas. Or maybe you have some suggestions. I also love bike riding and going for walks on a beautiful day.

You LOVE holidays, especially Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's Day. I am absolutely nuts for Christmas and I put up lights and decorations. If you don't love snow and love Christmas, you're not going to be a good fit for me.

Later that evening I'm feeling kinda depressed so you walk into the bedroom and you find me laying on the bed teary-eyed. You're a little hurt and disappointed to see me sad, but you don't make a big deal out of it. Maybe you lay down too and hug me for a little while. Maybe we go out for a car ride with the window open for a breath of fresh air with the music playing.

Finally we get home that evening and I start making preparations for the next day. I have an astronomy club meeting tomorrow (even though I know nothing about astronomy) and maybe you have work or have some activity tomorrow. We go to bed early to make sure we get plenty of rest. Perhaps you work and I don't. You're not jealous at all because you're happy with me and happy to have me around regardless of my employment status. You're happy at your job and you're a stable, happy, confident person.

You're not a talker and you don't get bored easy. If we're hanging around your friends and one of them makes a joke about me, you don't get embarrassed or ashamed of me. You're confident and happy in our relationship and what others think of us isn't important to you. You're committed to the relationship and you're not out looking for someone else that will impress your friends. You're focused on us and our life, you're not even thinking about replacing me. It's a life long bond.
