Looking For:

I’m a 34-year-old gay male from Maryland, USA looking for another gay male (about 25-50) in the US or Canada.

I struggle with physical and mental health issues that may or may not ever be resolved, and I’m currently limited with what activities I can do. Because of this, I either need a guy who has similar issues or who is absolutely sure he would be able to be with someone who has them.

I’d like to get to know each other online by sharing our experiences, supporting each other in our daily struggles, and relaxing / having fun watching shows, movies, or discussing random topics.

Direct, open, honest, and consistent communication is essential. It’s vital that we allow each other to bring up any issues we have in the moment to discuss and work through.

You must enjoy deep conversations and introspection, but also have a sense of humor and playfulness. I can be pretty goofy as we get to know each other (and don’t mind if you are, too)! Must be willing to share a face pic of ourselves early in our communication to know if there is physical attraction.

About Me:

• Romantic: I’m a very affectionate person, both verbally and physically. My “love languages” are pretty balanced. I’m out and I have prior relationship experience.
• Physical: I’m what most guys would probably call an “otter” - white, short, hairy, bearded, buzzed hair / bald, but not chubby enough to be a bear.
• Social: I’m more of an introverted person. I enjoy hanging out with a person or two, but I need space away from people (besides my significant other) to recharge after social situations. I don’t like most crowded or rowdy activities and I don’t use social media.
• Activities and Hobbies: Collecting, thrifting, painting, visiting museums, monuments, state parks, national parks, and historic sites, reading, watching documentaries (okay, and also YouTube and some trash TLC, too!), spending time with my family and my dog.
• Work and Education: My health issues have currently (but hopefully temporarily) stopped me from working and have made daily living difficult. I was an educator for many years and I have a bachelor’s degree.
• Religious and Political: I’m agnostic and I’m left-leaning on most political issues.

About You:

• Romantic: Must have prior relationship experience and be out to the extent that you wouldn’t hide your significant other or avoid simple public displays of affection (a hug, a kiss, hand holding). Must be an affectionate person and enjoy expressing your affections regularly through word and touch.
• Physical: I am generally attracted to chubbier guys, but it's not a requirement. Good hygiene is a must, though.
• Social and Activities: A bit of a homebody who likes calm activities outside the house is ideal.
• Religious and Political: Any religion is fine, so long as you respect me being agnostic and don’t try to change me. Must not be anything too right of center politically.
