Some people say I’m funny, other’s may say I’m funny looking. I just think I’m a little weird. But then I guess everybody is somebody’s weirdo. I’m almost 44 and I live in a small town in southern GA. I work professionally in a job I’m no longer in love with, and I’m coming out of a breakup that stung pretty bad and I’m starting over(cue Chris Stapleton) again; but at least I have my looks right? I’m Built like Shrek and don’t like people on my lawn and my best friend is an ass…so I might very well be Shrek. I have posted before but not in a long time. I went to college and crammed four years into six to get my first degree. My second took three more years. I love to learn new things and travel when I can.
I’m an early bird, I like going to the gym in the mornings before work. I’m a work in progress, I’ve got lumps and bruises and scratches from my journeys and I’m still a little heavier than I’d like to be but after losing 40lbs I know I can still keep you warm. I wear glasses and have a little facial hair that’s turning white and gray. I’m about as goofy looking as they come.

Fun fact - just finished working with some superglue aka Kragle and apparently didn’t wipe it all off and my phone stuck to my pinky finger. Yay.

So that’s me. There’s more. I’m as complex as a Rubik’s cube but my essential needs are just back scratches and cuddles. I’m basically a Rottweiler.

What I’d like to find in a perfect world:

You’re someone who speaks in sarcasm and laughs at dad jokes, likes her steak medium rare, and is kind to children and animals. You’re not pretentious or high maintence and you’ll match my energy. And lift me up on days I can’t match yours (I’ll be here to offer the same to you). You’re independent but like having a guy that shows his love via compliments and flirty txts and likes to love you big. You won’t shy away from the hard conversations; let’s set our expectations and wants early.

You listen to music, think that 80s music is rad, vinyl is cool and want to slow dance in the living room on a random night just because we can. You want to see the world, one adventure at a time. Road trips 50 miles away just to go grab a burger are your jam.

You can be at home in an art museum or a baseball stadium. You look good in jeans and can rock mismatched pajamas on a Sunday morning. And lastly my dream girl likes Diet Dr Pepper and talks a little dirty.

Location wise…this is always the toughie…if you were say, a couple hours in any direction of Jacksonville, FL that would be just about perfect. I’ll have a teenager in a couple years and I’m not necessarily glued to my city. Long distance does not scare me but I want to be able to regularly plan excursions to your place or mine or split an Airbnb somewhere in between.
