Hi Reddit! It's been a while since I have been around these parts, and I have to say I am hopeful I can meet someone of substance, even on a r4r like this one. I am thankful to all those that reach out to me. Before looking for love I am here looking for genuine friendship, that can grow into a wonderful romance. Looking for a homebody like me, but I do like to take the most advantage out of living in my town – I think I’ve been all over Rocky Mount this past year!! I have many interests, some geeky, some very deeply spiritual, some girly, like the Fashion Police, (totally dating myself with this Joan Rivers reference) *insert snicker here*

A little about me, I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and absolutely took advantage of growing up and living in such an amazing city. It is, by far, the greatest city in the world, and it is also truly the "City that Never Sleeps." I will always be a true New Yorker, having visited so many museums, plays, operas, Broadway shows, sporting events, and all the dance clubs and bars. I was even a bartender at one time. However, now being sober for almost 4 years, life is a lot different now. I play the flute to find peace and harmony, and I enjoy history and art. I also like comic book heroes and Star Trek.

I can talk about a variety of things, and I absolutely love to write. I blog often about the things that are special to me or what is going on in my life.  Writing is a form of art that I think we lost somewhere along the way with all this technology. I am looking for a guy to build a life with, but I am incredibly ambitious and independent – that doesn’t mean “I wear the pants” by any means at all, I am still a very traditional girly girl by all rights. Really humble and kind, I enjoy the good things in life even though I have had a recent setback, I have come back stronger than ever. 2025 is going to be a wonderful, bright, prosperous year!
