Hello, I am going through a separation with my partner of 12 years and really just need a friend/pen pal. Male or female doesn’t matter, I’m not looking for anything romantic - maybe more of a mentor of sorts. I love having intellectual conversations with people I feel are smarter than me. I have a good sense of humor if we jive. I’m interested in people who have good careers that they love because I don’t have that and I always want to know how some people got there. I’m a liberal in the south (GA) so that’s also something I’d like to talk about. I have one school age child. I’m in AA and it’s very important to me so that’d be cool to have in common. My desire to quit drinking has aided heavily in my separation. Again, I’m trying to reclaim my hobbies in this season, but I like to play the guitar, sew, occasionally draw. I like Gen X people as I’m a late millennial who grew up with Gen ex cousins.
