Being single and introverted kind of sucks. I sit at home alone on Sunday evenings feeling like whatever I did it wasn't enough on my day off, while not looking forward to the workweek. While I'd love to find the love of my life through reddit, that seems like playing the lottery. Honestly, I'd just like some decent conversation, whether it's a one time thing, or we hit it off and talk regularly, though of course I'd hope for the latter.
I'm nerdy, with all that entails. Into reading (fantasy primarily, just finished the latest Dungeon Crawler Carl and Azarinth Healer books and working on Wind and Truth while trying to not finish it too quickly). Enjoy playing games of all types even if I don't have as much time/people to play with as I'd like these days (friends don't live close and are busy with families). Enjoy trivia and knowledge for it's own sake, particularly interested in science, exercise, mma, technology, cooking, movies, stand up comedy, and psychology.
I've always been a caregiver and held a deep focus on kindness and my own view of "honor" while also loving to laugh and be irreverent. I work hard, but I work to live, not live to work.
I enjoy structured conversation, so if you want to go through the 36 questions that lead to love or play would you rather that could be fun. Or we could just wing it if you prefer.
Ideally I'd prefer people left wing, not into hard drugs, kind and understanding, intelligent, and not seriously into magical thinking (relgion/astrology/etc).
So if anything about this is appealing, and you want someone to talk to who responds regularly and would rather discuss that the conversation has lost it's appeal/run its course rather than ghosting (hopefully you would as well), send a chat invite or dm. Either way, thanks for reading my post and I wish you the best. Except you Mary. You know what you did.
