Yes, I am single and open to not being single. However, you do not have to be romantically interested in me to message me. Just having a nice conversation is enough for me to consider making this post a victory. My politics are left leaning. Those on the right might even, incorrectly, ascribe me the label as a socialist. I will not deny another an honest conversation because of their political views. I am addressing this since it matters to enough people. I politically concern myself with issues relating to the protection of rank-and-file workers and small businesses. I am also very interested in infrastructure and urban planning. I played a lot of SIM City when I was younger. I am a pretty bog standard liberal(American). I have a decent job. I am privileged enough to have the opportunity to begin pivoting my career, hopefully, to support the causes and issues I believe. This season, for the first time, I campaigned for my chosen candidate in an adjacent swing state. This attempt at a career pivot is probably my mid-life crisis.

I do not have children and have never wanted them. I do not hate them. Being a parent has never held any appeal to me. I do love pets. Cats or dogs? The answer is; yes.

Yes. I am atheist and no I am not spiritual. You can be religious or spiritual, I will not hold it against you. This is the section in which I impress you with all of my cool hobbies and incredible travel experiences. Unfortunately I am very under traveled to a standard which would make me cool, and my hobbies are boring and basic. I have no stories about being Peace Corps volunteer and how I spend all weekend at some rock climbing gym then drinking craft IPAs. I can only speak English. However I am very grateful to have had the chance to travel even at all.

I am very easy to please. I enjoy a good book. My reading habits seem to skew toward non fiction. I very recently got into reading biographies. The stereotypical ones too. Like reading about Julius Cesar and Albert Einstein. I told you I was basic. I do enjoy the adventure books like the story surrounding the Endurance Expedition. I often read a lot of self teaching books. My tablet is filled with self instructional manuals. I did not enjoy Lord of the Rings series. The Hobbit was great but Return was a bit of a let down for the trilogy.

I enjoy spending an entire day at a museum. As I type this, I really should map out some sort of museum tour. Please feel free me help me plan this tour. I love those massive art, history and science museums. I really want to visit more obscure and unique museums. I would love to visit the American Oddities Museum. The various haunted and creepy stuff museums sound fascinating. I think Doug and Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego are top tier television. I am not a video-Gamer but I really wish I was good a games like Chess.

I enjoy the performing arts and have even gotten involved. I have auditioned for some plays and played music on sidewalks. I really enjoy urban street art. I am trying to go to more concerts. I am a bit of a news junkie and trying to be less of an uninformed-dumb-American. I have even done stand-up comedy once. Don't look at me like that, I feel you judging me.

I work out and I do not dread it. It helps me feel great in this aging flesh bag. As I get older health and fitness is a priority I am forcing myself to have. I should start doing skin care and could use some guidance.

To contrast my previous statement. Who doesn’t love food? I cook and bake. I even have macrons resting at the moment as I type. I have been trying to perfect my croissant making. I will totally destroy a bag of low quality chocolate covered peanuts. I have a lot of bottles of hot sauce at my desk. I hate IPAs. Yes I have had Pliny the Elder and it’s awful. Why did you hoppy, IPA people have to contaminate Stouts and Porters with your sharp, hoppy nonsense? I will shamelessly pick burgers over sushi. I warned you I was not cool.
