I swear…I had just typed up the most sincere and genuine post ever and then poof I deleted it.
So, I’m going to try again. Ready? Here we go! I’m a pretty decent fella if I must say so my self. I got out of a 18 year marriage in early 2024 and haven’t had a ‘relationship’ since

Let me tell you a little about myself. And then what I’m looking for.

I’m 5’8” with brown hair and glasses and a little facial hair that’s turning white. I’m not a perfect man at all but I am working on myself and push myself daily to be better at life. I really enjoy laughing and being silly. But I can be serious. My love languages is quality time, words of affirmation and physical touch.

I’m a little below Savannah, GA but I’m very much open to a ‘long’ distance relationship within a couple hours if you’re okay with it. I know life can be stressful enough and I don’t want to add to that stress.

I enjoy sports, watching because I don’t play anymore(thanks knees). Unless it’s air hockey. Is Pinball a sport? I’d really like to go see more events. Baseball games, football games, hockey…etc. but if you look good in a jersey I’ll be focused more on you than the game.
My son is important. My greatest achievement. He’s my reason for ________. If you have children I’d expect nothing less from you. They take priority. If you don’t have kids, that’s okay. They just better make you smile. lol.

I’d like you to be genuine and kind. Open to communication. Quick to listen and slow to judge. Love to laugh and okay crying in front of me if you need to. Sharing memes and music can be how we send our smiles to one another. There’s nothing I would ask of you that I wouldn’t return to you myself.

I have a Christian background, most of my teen and adult life. But I’m not here to judge your beliefs and am open to all walks of life. I’m always up for spirited or serious conversation about the hard subjects. I’ve voted both blue and red before, and not going to hate on you for whatever color you are.

I’d love to do something crazy with you that we’ve never done before. Take a cruise, a roadtrip to nowhere, crash a wedding or whatever.

I love new relationship energy but I’d like that energy to last more than three days. And if the energy mellows not be afraid to talk about it and light a spark.

I’m not necessarily looking for a life partner here. But I’m open to it. I believe everyone comes into our lives for a reason. Maybe we’re going to come into each other lives to teach each other to smile again. Show each other the respect we deserve. Handle one another’s hearts gently and prepare each other for whatever comes next.

My thumbs are tired.
