Hi there! The title describes what I’m hoping to find pretty well - I’d really just like to have some conversations about books. What’s your all time favourite book? Is there a book that you absolutely hated that I should avoid? I’m not opposed to a conversation developing into other topics, but my focus is to ideally befriend other people who enjoy reading as a hobby.
A bit about me - I’m 34 and I moved to Ohio last year so I’m in the eastern time zone. I grew up in Western Canada (married an American & moved to the US in 2018) and still add ‘u’ to words and say ‘eh’ a lot. I spend the large majority of my free time reading but also enjoy going for a hike or walk (super typical, I know), or just having a quiet evening at home especially now that hockey season is back.
I’m not too picky about if our reading tastes are similar. I personally prefer stand-alone books to books that are part of a series, and tend to read a lot more fiction than non-fiction (unless it’s about space travel or the Titanic). A time zone not too far from EST would be ideal.
