Hey, what’s up, my fellow fabulous 40-plussers? 👋
I’m 44, but mentally, I still feel like I’m in my 20s. Physically, though... let’s just say my back has some strong opinions on that. 😅 Anyone else still think they’re young until they try to do something mildly athletic? I almost felt like I pulled a muscle the other day just tying my shoes. Tying my shoes. That’s a new low, right? 😂
But aside from random body betrayals, life’s pretty great. I’m here for good vibes, interesting convos, and maybe finding out how the heck we’re supposed to navigate this whole “midlife” thing. Does anyone actually know?
I’m into random hobbies (started getting into woodworking for no reason whatsoever), sports I’m no longer flexible enough to play, and pretending like I understand what TikTok is. Let’s talk about the fun, the weird, and all the in-between. What’s something ridiculous that you used to do effortlessly that now requires a warm-up and a recovery plan?
Looking forward to hearing your hilarious stories and advice on how to survive this second puberty we seem to be going through! 😎
