How nice would it be to have a bit of indulgent back and forth? An escape from the everyday that improves it? Makes it more manageable?
Chat and check ins. I guess that’s not such a poultry ask, right? Saying hi just because. Asking how you are because you genuinely mean it not as a lead in to talk about oneself. Grins and laughs and - maybe just maybe - a little spark and flirtation that maybe we do something about or maybe we don’t.
