Since my last post, I have had a ton of heartbreak. Even when the conversation was going well, I was either ghosted or she disappeared. Two of them later came back to tell me that they were excited to talk to me and get to know me, but didn't have the emotional bandwidth to make new friends, let alone to date. I don't know why this has to be so difficult, but I am trying once again because I am still convinced someone good for me is out there and we just haven't crossed paths yet.
I may not have been clear enough in my last couple of posts, since I have been asked about it, but, I am looking for genuine connections, no matter what they may be. We may click in certain ways but not in others. Whether it's a platonic friendship, a casual or semi-casual arrangement, a date, or working toward a relationship, I am open to whatever the universe has in store for us.
Two of my biggest passions in life are traveling and exploring new places (both road trips and flights), and being outdoors in parks and on trails. I have never been camping and would like to give it a try at least once. Other things I enjoy include mini golfing, playing pool, board and card games, and watching baseball and football games. I also like festivals and theater. Iām open to being introduced to and experiencing your interests with you.
The most important things I look for are trust, being a good conversationalist, being genuinely interested in getting to know me and having me be a part of your life, not smoking cigarettes or doing drugs, having something you're passionate about, and good hygiene.
I live in the suburbs of NYC, but have no problem traveling to see you if we can connect. A good match may be farther away and I am open to distance.
