Do you remember Scholastic Book Fairs?Ā Howzabout Choose Your Own Adventure books?Ā If you donāt, youāre probably not my target demographic.Ā Iāve always favored men who can read and are of a certain age...itās just nice to have some common pop culture touchstones to relate to every so often.Ā Know what I mean?
While Iāve been on Reddit for more than a minute [and the Internet when it was merely a āsuper highwayā] this is the first time[or not], Iāve posted on this particular sub.Ā Why here?Ā Why now?Ā If Iām being totally honest [and 99.9% of the time I am] Iām a little bored and a little lonely and Iād like to have someone to talk to that will give me another reason to look at my phone, than to randomly scroll any number of apps.Ā It seems a relatively low bar, so whatās the catch?
The catch...I guess is that I want something real...I donāt want to role play or be someoneās dirty little secret.Ā I donāt have the energy or inclination to be anyone other than myself and I have an abiding respect for those that feel the same way.Ā That being I realize that I may not be everyoneās cup of tea so hereās a word picture .
She had the body of a Fernando Botero; thick and strong. A body shaped by resilience, resistance and the love of a splendid repast. Her skin was pale, unspoiled but for a single tattoo on her upper arm- near her shoulder. Hazel eyes; more green than brown glittered beneath her smooth brow, tendrils of wiry, medium brown hair escaped from the elastic of the band that restrained her thick and unruly curly hair. Full, soft lips belied a small mouth that stretched wide when a smile cracked her lips. Smile she did, as she knew it was her only really super power... The way she smiled, lit up her entire face and made her eyes sparkle with wit and more than a hint of whimsy. Her eyes appeared more or less green depending on what color shirt she was wearing, or the way the light hit them. The outer edges of her irises, a golden topaz that seemed to pick up whatever light is in the room, they glittered with mischievousness every time a wicked thought crossed her mind. But most important perhaps, was the fact that her smile touched her eyes and showed any who paid attention the depths of her heart. She was, finally, a woman unconcerned with the way the world saw her and that freedom made her incandescent...it radiated from her smile, touching all those within its range.
