And I even have hair! Admittedly, it's not as dark as it once was but I just tell myself the grey is all the wisdom I've accumulated in life manifesting itself as a salt and pepper dusting of intelligence.

I'm single and do not have children. I'm open to having children but am at a point in my life where I realize it might not happen and I'm fine with it. I love dogs and cats and enjoy volunteering time each week to help animals. Road trips, traveling, and exploring are my thing when I have the free time. I wander museums, visit odd shops, and for some reason always draw the conversations of strangers who end up telling me their life stories.

Being that I am an old man, I know next to nothing about current trends in music, movies, or entertainment. I find out about songs about a decade after they were first popular. I'm not quite doddering but definitely see that stop on the road at some point. I might need you to keep me hip on the new lingo and what the whippersnappers are up to.

These Reddit connections can be fleeting. They are often brief candles that flame out due to indifference and insincerity and the tendency of people being bored and needing a dopamine hit. With that in mind, I'd like to take things slow, establish rapport, eventually move off of communicating on Reddit, and if everything is copacetic even perhaps meet up in person one day. Imagine that!
