It's a typical Tuesday evening for me. Low-key, mellow, and full of ideas and daydreams. And so, in what feels like a rare effort to reach out, I impulsively decided I'd post here on Reddit - something I haven't done in quite a while.

I've been a dreamer, an ideator, for as long as I can remember. I think creatively and gravitate towards careful, thoughtful execution and planning of a heart-filled, yet cerebral approach to artistic expression. It's part of being an artist, after all - just letting go and letting things work themselves out.

Where am I now? Not exactly stuck - but caught in a level of stasis that unsettles me a smidge. I think it's because I know I'm worthy of love and capable of finding someone who is eager for a deeper connection. But it's the time commitment that really gives me cause for concern. Because I do want to spend time getting to know someone - locally, nationally. I do want to find someone with similar tastes in music, a cheesy, kid-like naiveté running a purple-crayon line through the daily routine...and someone to laugh with and make great art, music, writing, and the like about.

I guess I'm looking for a creative complement to freeze time with me, We already have enough to handle with our regular days, and the past can be the past - that's not up for debate, nor will it be challenged or even questioned. Who are we - what good do we aspire to do with our lives?

These are the deeper, more soulful questions that I wake up to, that rattle in my mind and help propel me forward. I am energetically, happily, and enthusiastically employed in a great role. I have TONS of hobbies to keep me busy and to talk about (music-making, reading/writing, painting, photography, bicycling are just a few). I am a little bit of a nerd and I still like the gym. I live and die by the strength of my iced coffee. And I love to listen and absorb thoughtful conversation. Fun topics for me are pop culture based, HSP (highly sensitive people).
