Whereas, in Einstein's e=mc2 'energy equals mass times the speed of light squared', he proves that energy and mass are interchangeable, we can apply the same equation to posting/replying on reddit simply by replacing the terms, arriving at 'expectations equal misery times the speed of reply squared', thereby proving that, on reddit, expectations and misery are interchangeable. Sad, but true.
Let's see if we can find a more positive equation by further replacing a few more terms and variables. Therefore, if e is excitement, m is message, c is chances taken, a is anticipation, h is hope, and r is right now, we get
