I am lucky to have a really wonderful life, one that brings me a great deal of joy. Sometimes I feel so happy I could burst. Truly. I genuinely never experience boredom, so I value my time and what I spend it on, and one of those things is making high quality connections, as it's something I find very fulfilling.

I'm hoping to find
I'd love to meet people around my age ( /- 5 years or so) who enjoy conversation and have capacity for it. Ideally single with no kids as that's my life circumstance too which means we will have similar things to talk about. I'm happy to share photos. Humour means a lot to me, and I have a very irreverent and inappropriate sense of humour. I am not a particularly sensitive person so am at ease discussing all sorts of topics. I love talking about the differences in culture, especially between Western countries, which are less similar than you may think.

I want to make genuine friends around the world with the means and capability to travel so hopefully one day in the future we can host each other.

Some tidbits
- You can tell from my profile that I love to cook. I've actually gotten back into baking, and am currently obsessively baking sourdough breads. Yesterday I made potato bread, malt and milk loaf, and a freeze dried blueberry and white chocolate loaf.
- I have two dogs who love being chief taste testers.
- As I write I can hear the tradie doing my bathroom renovation hammering away. It's not going to be on the cover of Vogue Living but I am excited to have more functional spaces, plus a bigger bath!
- I love travel and road trips when I am able to do them and am planning my third trip to Tasmania, which is my favourite place. I've been to the US many times and am hoping to either go to the southwest in 2025 for my 40th, or maybe Norway. I haven't decided, so maybe you can debate pros and cons with me.
- Tonight I'm going to the gym for leg day, having recently started doing tempo work that I think is really paying off.
- I work in an office (well, an office job, I actually work remotely), one that always has unbelieveable and hilarious things happening, so if you do too then I am sure we can swap stories and funny memes about Teams calls and Zoom meetings.

The disclaimer (as long as Apple's)
Many people wonder why I post F4M if I am specifically not interested in flirty chat. I have lots of amazing female friends in my life which is why I post F4M.

Men bring a different perspective to life, experience different challenges, communicate differently, and I always feel like I can learn from them. I like to maintain a circle of friends that includes both men and women, and single and partnered people (in the appropriate context).

I am not open to online connections with people in relationships as it's typically under nefarious circumstances. Yes I am single, but I am not expecting my friendships to turn romantic, and I do not provide free adult services for "fun", which bizarrely people have the entitlement to ask for like it's a restaurant recommendation.

For me, there is no such thing as "but it's the internet" or "it's only online". I always assume the person on the other end is a real person, living a real life, and should be treated with the same respect and decorum as I would anyone else.

I'm not here to burden you with mental health issues, lies, a need for attention and validation, or anything else of the sort. Just real conversation, real friendship, real connection.
