I’ll attempt to give a decent amount of detail but also make it short and sweet. I am a 37 year old African American woman who lives in Virginia and is looking for a long term relationship that starts in friendship. I do like Virginia but I’m not sure that it’s my forever home. I am okay with long distance within reason to start. I have no plans on living in the northeast so if you are settled and have made a life for yourself any further than Washington DC then we won’t be compatible. I was raised up north but only love it to visit at this time in my life. If you live the Northeast and can see your self settling down else where then feel free to reach out.

Let’s start with the physical details because attraction matters and everyone has there own preferences. If I’m not your cup of tea that’s totally okay with me.
-I am 5’6 and height & weight proportionate.
- I have already mentioned that I’m African American and we come in all shades but I do have dark skin. So if you aren’t into darker skin women than I am also not for you. Your race does not matter to me. I am not hung up on that, I prioritize compatibility and attraction.
- I have more of a an hour glass figure or coke bottle shape.
- I have brown eyes and long black hair.
- I don’t typically wear a face full of makeup and I wear my nails short since I work in healthcare.
- I am divorced and have been for about 5 years. I was married young to my “high school sweetheart.”
- I do not have any children.

I love to travel! I love board games, reading and cooking. I am a fan of the movie theatre although they seem to be going obsolete. I really love theatre and usually have a subscription to the local Broadway shows in my area. I like to stay fit and I expect that from a partner as well. I enjoy music - jazz, r & b, 90s music etc. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking and camping. I believe in a higher power so if you’re atheist than we also will not be compatible.

I’m looking for someone who shares some of my interests but it does not have to be all. That’s the joy of meeting new people, getting to know them and sharing in things that you may not even know you like. We can’t all have exactly the same interests. I’d like for you to be between 32 - 42 years old. Since I do not have children ideally you have none or one. I don’t want to invite any drama or negative issues in my life that involve people who can not co parent respectfully. However if you have no children because you’ve chosen to be child free than we will not be compatible. Because although I do not have any children i’d like the door to be open if I’d like change that in the future. I am open to having children and remarriage in the future with the ideal person. Key word being the future and that does not mean I’ll meet them on Reddit lol Let’s just say I’m not in any rush. But it’s important to include that to make sure no one’s wasting their time. Who knows what the future holds?! There are plenty of people who would like a forever partner without marriage, I’m just not one of them.
