I’m Carter. Earlier last year, I moved from NYC back to Australia (where I grew up). We’re in the height of our summer now and it’s unbearably hot.
When I’m not singing along (terribly) and dancing (embarrassingly) to music on my headphones, you’ll find me on a run, working out, playing tennis, working or watching The Office reruns. In a constant mental battle between van-life, running away to a cabin in rural Europe or working hard to climb the corporate ladder.
Looking for someone to chat with (open to voice and video but let’s just start with good old text chats). A conversation packed with sarcasm and a sprinkle of existential dread. Again, I don’t mind where you are in the world - different culture and people are always interesting!
Let’s share memes, music and photos of our days. Make silly puns, vent… whatever really. The song I’m vibing out to today is Andromeda by Ryan Beatty.
As for what this looks like long term? I’m not sure. Ideally you’ll stick around, we’ll get along great and distract each other from the monotony of our day to day lives and get each other through 2024 and beyond. At a bare minimum, I’m here to solve any computer problem so what is there to lose?
