During this holiday season, and the darkest time of the year here in the Northern Hemisphere, I am looking to fill two major voids in my life. It has been a very difficult last few weeks for me and would like to meet the kind of people I so sorely am missing. I have had friends drift over the last number of years and feel that true, close friendships are lacking. In addition, it has been a very long time since I have had anything more than a platonic friendship with a woman.

Some of my interests are mini golfing, exploring cities and other sights, parks and trails, taking drives and road trips, traveling around the world, old school board games (think Monopoly and Risk), current events and politics, newsmagazine shows, and sports (MLB and the NFL are my two favorite sports). I would like to make new friends that can turn close with time, who I can have deep conversations with as well as doing activities together.

I do not have a set agenda for something more than platonic. It could be something as simple as a cuddle buddy and it could be as deep as sharing an intimate experience. It could be on the casual side or it could be something leading to a serious relationship, it all depends on how we connect and what your wants are. I consider myself extremely touch starved. I am relatively open minded in terms of physical looks, and anyone is welcome to respond, because attraction can often develop or become stronger with a mental or emotional connection. Attraction does matter to an extent, but I have been attracted to a bunch of different types of women in the past, so it really is on a case by case basis. I cannot, however, deal with cigarette smokers or those with poor hygiene.

With my past posts, I have gotten a lot of responses from women who cannot carry a conversation, or who say "hi" but have nothing else to say. If you aren't a good conversationalist, this isn't the post for you.
