Hi,

I’m 46, female, single, no kid, one cat, and I live in Washington, DC. Feel free to move along if you’ve heard this before — yes, I’m the same person, just as I recognize a good 10 of you who have posted the same thing over and over the past 4 years.

I’m 5’ tall, brown hair, brown eyes, BBW, and I look cute with my nails done and a bit of style. I get compliments on how I look — from people at work at least. As for that, I work in digital communications for a nonprofit and I’m on the lookout for a new career because I don‘t want to be a director of comms for a nonprofit, which is the only place for me to go.

I’m also 420-friendly, but you don’t have to be.

I’m your generic sci-fi nerd, from movies to tv to books. I’m a big movie person so if you want a rousing game of 6 degrees of any actor, you know who to go to. I craft (cross-stitch), and am an erstwhile piano player who intends to get back into it for the mood-regulation achieved through bimanual movements. I like to play cribbage, Settlers of Catan, and Wingspan. I also spend most of my social time on my discord server, although I do have some real life friends too.

I once had a conversation with a woman who was also swiping on the apps, and she seemed baffled that I didn’t have a blueprint to what I was looking for. The truth is — I don‘t really have expectations or assumptions about how a relationship should be, or who I should be with. My experience in relationships is limited, to put it mildly, and I’m more looking to see who’s out there and what they’re looking for, and see if it aligns with what I want.

What do I want? Someone to retire with in the manner that I dream of: travel-limited, existing mostly in climate controlled conditions, surrounded by technology and creature comforts. I’m a 21st century American consumer, and I want my toys.
