TLDR; separated/divorcing educated and adventurous woman seeks guy friends late 30s-early 40s
I have been separated for the past 3 years (not legally because that doesnāt exist in Texas) and filing for divorce but there are a lot of things to work out logistically (kids, house, finances, etc).
But in spite of what sounds like drama, I am not drama (and it isnāt dramaā¦ just a sad case of āthis isnāt quite what I thought it was going to be and I tried to make it work for longer than I probably should haveā).
If that doesnāt scare you off, keep reading!
I am 5ā5ā and an athletic 145lbs. I love anything outdoors. My dream house is a tiny cabin in the woods and my dream car is a bicycle. I value walkability/bikeability, and a small town feel in a big city. I love the country, and the woods, and the big city, and like to spend time in all three.
I am highly educated, and have a bachelors and masters degree, and then got an associates - ask me about that and Iāll gladly share. It is quite amusing to me that I got my degrees in that order.
Hobbies include hiking, cycling, camping, backpacking, running, lifting weights, group fitness classes, music, traveling, reading, cooking, starting community organizations, writing my own software when I canāt find something I like, spending time with my kids, and throwing parties. There are probably more. I love adventure and trying new things/seeing new places. I hate touristy things, I would rather walk/drive around myself and check things out.
I have been burned by two marriages so at the moment I am playing the field and not looking for a long term commitment. I am looking for friends first. I value emotional connection, and am an open book. If you ask, I will respond, even if the response is āI donāt feel comfortable answering that question.ā I will respond to anyone who reaches out respectfully, and I will never ghost you. If I donāt feel like chatting anymore, I will say that.
If you got this far, feel free to send me a chat.
