I am 43, and from Belgium. I am looking to make some new platonic friends. I'd really like to make meanigful connections that will hopefully last. I know that's a lot to ask on Reddit when people just give up if you don't connect immediately, but I am really interested in getting to know people. I am a Scorpio so you know if you gain my trust, you'll have a friend for life.

About me: I am plus size, currently transitioning to grey hair so I have a really cool grey/black hair thing going on, green eyes, both arms tattooed. I have a mini dachshund who is stubborn AF but has his adorable moment. I love theatre / musicals (watching I can't sing to save my life). I am trying to get back into reading. I am a "baby" gamer. I used to play a lot of PC games when I was a teenager, but now I just have a Switch... Yes I bought it during Covid. Yes I play Animal Crossing!

I'd prefer if you are in Europe (because time difference is a bitch), but open to anyone in the world really. If possible over the age of 30 otherwise I feel like we might find it more difficult to connect.

I insist that I am just looking for friends, nothing more. I am in a long distance relationship. We haven't met yet but he means the world to me and I don't plan on cheating online or in IRL.

I am currently not working. I was a caretaker for my mom but she passed away in February. She was my best friend and the best mom anyone could ever asked for so this is still really hard. I usually don't talk to much about grief online, but you know if might come up once in a while, so if it's a trigger for you, I understand. Just let me know in advance.
