Despite the weather being insane, fall is coming and it's my favorite time of year. The temperature dips and there's a ton of fun things to do before winter drops snow, slush, and perpetual gray until May.

I'm looking for that special someone where conversation just flows easily. Someone with whom I can spend a full day with and it never feels like it's long enough, and I have no recollection of where the time went. I short, I'm looking for my last first date.

I'm educated, empathetic, and eager to please (think golden retriever energy). I love to make the people in my life I care about happy, but I don't want to be the source of people's happiness - there is a subtle yet important difference there. I know what I want and what I'm looking for, and I not into playing games (unless it's Scrabble, of course) and am looking for someone who feels similarly.

I enjoy cooking, camping, and generally being outside. I also love trying a new restaurant, cuddling up with the person I care about and binging something on Netflix, or reading (aloud or silently together). I lead a busy life but prioritize the people who are important to me, most importantly my two kids. I cannot have any more bio kids, just in case either of those were a deal breaker.

I'm looking for...well, hopefully you! Realistically, I intentionally don't put a list here. I find many aspects about people are non issue if you get to know them and there's chemistry. Ideally though, you're confident in what you're looking for, you're not currently in a relationship (separated is still in a relationship), and you're relatively local. I've received plenty of messages from previous posts from people who weren't local, and realistically...things fizzle if you can't see one another.
