I seem to still be searching for a special type of close connection that I’m not sure exists.

It’s a type of soul-level connection, but because I am in a relationship, it needs to be platonic. I prefer someone who is also not married.

I would like to get to know someone with a naturally dominant nature where we develop a sense of intimacy where there is a comfort level for sharing and talking about anything/everything.

But I am not looking for this with just anyone, I am not desperate to talk to just anyone.

There are lots of ways I am not “normal” by any standard definition and I tend to find a spark with others who are considered more on the abnormal, eccentric side.

There are a few things I’m passionate about and can’t share with anyone because most people I know aren’t naturally interested.

I’m an introvert, I am heavily affected by moody things such as music, certain movies and visual experiences, books, art. Things that evoke a sense of emotion, or move the spirit or soul.

And I tend to naturally be drawn to the more dark and sombre.

Especially in a historical context. I feel very nostalgic towards the past, from the 80s to eras like mid-century, Victorian, and Middle Ages.

I feel so out of place in today’s society of tastes, styles, and ways of being.

I’m very old-fashioned in many ways and am drawn to older and/or more simple things and ways of life, for the most part.

I find that I’m even feminine in a conventional way that women typically aren’t anymore.

There are some things I love deeply, such as some classical music (amongst many other types), old books and things, old films, British films and history, handcrafted things, nature, animals, cozy weather, being by water and the woods.

When there is a spark with someone, I like frequent communication (as possible, of course).

I love getting lost in deep conversations or more simple, quiet, relaxing moments as well.

I prefer to connect with someone who is mature, thinks on deep levels, from self reflection to beyond the atmosphere into space.

Someone who has always been looking for “more” too, something different than the typical.

Someone to talk to, maybe watch streaming with sometimes, share music, reading, and whatever other interests.
