What would Seinfeld be without Elaine? or M.A.S.H. without Major "Hot Lips" Houlihan ?Or "The Big Bang Theory" without Penny?
Well, probably just a failed pilot. That's why you are needed. I'd like for the sitcom that is my life to continue on a successful pattern, and it's been proven that it needs a strong lead female character.
What are the qualifications? Well, the production has to be age appropriate, so a minimum of 35 Springs spent on Earth is required, 40 plus desirable and ideal. Physical appearance is irrelevant, but communication skills are super important. Since we want to keep this entertaining, a sense of humor is a must, and, as this show will have pets (against the idea that one should not act with kids or pets, as the audience would only see them), an animal lover is another must have quality.
The above listing does not require interaction with children, and to get the job, you don't have to send nudes to the producer and lead male actor. However, this production will move on from just a virtual "table read" to a real production, at some point, so willingness to have the in person interaction is also a must. While you don't have to sleep with any of the powers to be to get the job, in order to keep it, things will have to change, eventually.
The soundtrack. The soundtrack will be a diverse one, so enjoying music is a plus. So is a passion for reading, as we all know, sometimes a screenplay is nothing but copying old plays/ books.
If you're a bit kinky that might be a plus, as giving a R rater edge to a sitcom might just be what is needed for it to survive. Not a must, though.
Feel free to send in your resume, and you will definitely have a shot at meeting the series lead. It might turn into an audition and...well, you never know!
