Ok, a weird angle but bear with me...

First, if you know who Tendi is, we should talk! If not, that's completely ok.

So, I'm looking for a fellow science nerd. Not necessarily a scientist, but someone... interested in the universe, the wonderful life in it, understanding how it works and doesn't work.

Maybe comment on this. Does it seem to you there is an anti-science bias in movies? I watched the first spiderverse and two of my friends liked it, but I hated it as the scientists were the bad guys and I had just set up some cool software for making simulations and then I saw similar software being used to make a collider that was destroying the universe (or universes). I mean I get that that wasn't the point, but, it bummed me out.

Tendi is a character from Star Trek lower decks and she is so excited about science that it's infectious and after watching I run off and watch, I don't know Carl Sagan or Neil DeGrasse Tyson, then try a few problems. The original star trek got me into science, spock was my role model, I love star trek up to enterprise and am happy to talk about them. I havent seen any of the new stuff except for lower decks, I'm pretending it doesn't exist. I'm happy with lower decks and rewatching STVOY and DS9.

I guess I could have made this R4R, but it would be really great to share some connection with a woman with similar interests. I found myself overwhelmingly attracted the few times it has happened. Sadly, all times said women was also attracted to women, so... sort of a non starter, but I was happy to just be friends. Frustrated but happy. I'm ok with you being far off, I love to travel and happy to meet up in exciting places, maybe for a con or science conference, we can go and pretend to be scientists (I do have imposter syndrome).
