My little bar has been slowly collecting bottles, with very few people to sample my concoctions and help rotate the stock. I moved from Vancouver to Victoria a little over two years ago and my mostly WFH situation, combined with working independently means I've only made a few connections here, none of them romantic.

Now, I'm not expecting you to just pop over and enjoy an adult beverage right off the hop...but it's one of the many benefits of dating me. Others may include but are not limited to:

1. Taking in the local scenery. Because I'm not the sort to do things alone, there's still so much I've yet to see here in Vic. I've done a few solo trips and seen some interesting places that I'd love to share, and I'm interested in seeing the places you like.
2. You might get plants. During the pandemic I picked up a new hobby. Houseplants. Seems there's usually some cuttings that are rooting, or new starts in pots that I might not have room for. I've given away a few already, and it's always fun to propagate more.
3. If you like camping, I'm your dude. I've got most (if not all) the gear needed for a great spring/summer/fall campout, I can start a fire, chop wood, and set up camp with the best of them.
4. Depending on your sense of humour, I may be seen as downright hilarious, or mildly entertaining. Either way, I'm going to try and make you laugh, and hope you do the same for me.
5. Financially independent and kinda proud of that. Not "proud" in the sense that I'm bragging, but that I'll never need to sponge money from anyone. I've got a good, solid job that pays me well for the work that I do.
6. I drive an EV, so road trips are almost completely guilt-free.

At this point, you're asking yourself "Why's this hunky chunk of man-meat single?". Well, I'll tell you. I've got a few things that some folks might consider dealbreakers. Those aren't the folks I want to know. :P

1. I'm fixed. If you want babies, you're barking up a tree that no longer has seeds. I have an adult daughter, and I'm past my child rearing days, so those of you with dependents, exit stage left...stage right even, as the great Snagglepuss would say. If you've got independent adult offspring (or no offspring), that's just dandy!
2. I vape. I'm not a cloudbro, but I do toot on the doucheflute. Small and subtle, but it's still a thing that bothers some folks...so I'm just putting it out there.
3. Polyamory is something I think is more viable than monogamy. While I'm currently single, I do believe that folks are capable of maintaining multiple romantic relationships at the same time. While the Venn Diagram of poly and kinky folks has a VERY large overlap, I don't have too many kinks (yes, my username is a cheeky reference to a very mild foot fetish). That said, I'm always up to explore a partner's fantasies or interests.
4. I'm not sure if this is a pro or a con, but I seem to enjoy making out a lot more than the women I've had a couple of dates with over the last few years. Throw that one into whichever category you like.
