When I sleep, I usually have extremely vivid dreams (not that kind, though). It's kinda fun when you sleep as much as I do, upwards of 12 hours a day. This morning I took a quick nap and, as usual, I had a dream. This time, it was that I went on Reddit and met someone there who became a friend, then eventually my girlfriend.
If you think this sounds cheesy as hell, I couldn't agree more. Makes you wonder what other weird secrets and desires my subconscious hold, but maybe we'll find out in the next episode of Nate's dreamsâ„¢.
A little about me:
I'm more of an indoors person and I work from home. It's convenient like you wouldn't believe when you sleep this much because I can choose my own work hours. That said, if you know anyone who hires for a position of mattress tester, please let me know: I would consider a career change.
Because apparently that's a thing, let me specify that I am very single, I've never been married before and all of my exes are out of the picture. Well, okay, I am still friends with some of my early adulthood sweethearts, but most of them are married with kids now and we talk once every leap year, just about. Speaking of which, I am also child-free, though not necessarily by choice. I'd like to have one or more someday but, if that's not your thing, fur babies are mandatory regardless of whether or not I have kids perfectly fine.
I went to college to study creative writing and cinema and so I love to watch Netflix series and movies. I have recently recycled myself into becoming a novelist, my #1 passion being storytelling in almost any form of media. Therefore I absolutely love D&D, but I also like other activities like video games and board games. I also enjoy a good talk about philosophy, history, politics, sociology, culture, and more. Ideally, it would be nice to have someone who has similar interests so we can do/talk about stuff we both enjoy.
Do note however that I am open to trying out new hobbies, it's just that those I mentioned are usually not too difficult to do together even when we're far from each other. Can't exactly go hiking together when we're not in the same country, y'know?
When I posted this in the past, I would add a disclaimer here stating that I had struggles with mental health for some time but was on the way to recovery. Instead, today I can say that I am in a good place mentally and emotionally. There may still be a few quirks that can surge here and there, but I'm pretty sure we all have those, don't we? But what I'm getting at is that, while I do not want to be your personal therapist because I am not qualified to be, maybe we can help each other grow and become better people.
That's it for now! If it doesn't sound like you'd want to punch me after talking with me for 5 minutes, send me a private message. And if you think you'd want to punch me after talking with me for 5 minutes, send me a message anyway, maybe it would be a good story to tell our friends when they ask how we met.
Edit: Happy holidays!
