Wishing a merry cozy Christmas to all those who celebrate it, and joyful holidays to everyone!

I am not sure what made me want to post this on Christmas Day and on Reddit of all places, but here it goes:

• I love reading and adding new books to my never-ending queue of unread books (a bit of a tsundoku situation going on), going on long aimless walks as a way to explore and get lost around the city (which I am very good at). I am currently reading "Empire of Things" by Frank Trentmann which provides a historical account on the evolution of consumption and material desire in different cultures, and I am really enjoying it. I hike, mostly as a way to explore nature and disconnect, and enjoy long walks along the seashore when I get the chance to be near a sea. There’s something about the vastness of water and sky that makes me feel comfortably irrelevant.
• I spend most of my days working with data, cooking, reading, meeting up with a friend or two, and drawing when I need a creative outlet. While I can be very social and friendly, I am an introverted homebody. I would love a relationship where we check in during the day, talk about pointless and not so pointless things, laugh at random stuff and inside jokes. Maybe go on long walks and get lost together? Explore new places together? Try out new recipes, cuddle and giggle in the evening? Find joy in the small mundane things of daily life. Build a relationship that feels like home? I enjoy physical touch, love cuddling, running my fingers through your hair, those long hugs that make me feel safe. However, I understand this might not be everyone’s cup of tea and the most important thing for me is that my partner feels loved in a way that they cherish and would like to be loved.
• I was in a serious long term relationship previously and took quite some time after the break-up to be entirely by myself (life circumstances and Covid-19 certainly helped a lot with this as well). I am now trying to get back into dating by literally doing nothing and hoping a boyfriend will magically materialize out of thin air in my room.
• I moved to France for work and I’m based in Paris, but I am originally from Eastern Europe. I am currently back home for the holidays and won’t be back until the beginning of/mid January. I would prefer to be closer to my family in Europe, but ultimately this is not a biggest deal-breaker.
• I have never been married and don’t have kids, but would love to have my own family at some point in the future! Don’t worry though, I generally like to see how things flow and meet the other person halfway.
• I am strictly monogamous.
• I haven’t been watching a lot of movies or shows recently. If you have any recommendations, feel free to share! I view movie-watching as a social activity where I annoy you with my constant comments about all the random things happening in the movie over a charcuterie board and warm cups of tea or wine. I enjoy beautiful cinematography and more experimental movie formats, some of which might sometimes kind of border on pretentiousness, though I mostly watch and enjoy the classics. Sergei Parajanov for his evocative and inventive style, Mamoru Oshii for his attention to detail, and of course, Tarkovsky.
• I am politically left wing.
• My music taste is all over the place. I listen to anything from rock, indie, to Mongolian throat singing, Shostakovich, and Latin American music. So, yes, literally anything. :)

Appearance wise: I have long dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and I’m white. I am rather petite, 161 cm/ 5’3”, and 53 kg/116.8 lb.

About you: I do not have any specific preferences. I don’t want to be too strict and risk not getting to know you. :) Come as you are, really. :) I would love to provide a safe non-judgemental space where my partner can be vulnerable and trust me to be a source of support for them under all circumstances.

I would prefer you to be somewhat around my age, say 29/30 to late thirties. The most important thing is that we share a certain set of values and goals in life, and some connection. It would be great if you could provide some basic info about yourself (age, location), what you like or do, and a photo would be nice. Your photo gets mine.
