Normally I’m posting from the US but I’m back home for the holidays. I don’t mind where you are in all honesty!
I am Carter - an Australian guy who moved to NYC in October 2019. I possibly picked the worst time in recent years to move and COVID made everything slightly more difficult but things have improved so it’s going okay. It’s good to be back home visiting after a few years!
Moved over there because I’ve wanted to work abroad for a few years now and this crazy thing happened; I started getting serious about that and looking into it and it actually happened. Who’d have thought?

I play sports normally and try to keep fit when I have the time - gym or running are my go to. Sing way too loud (and poorly) to music when it’s on - current favourite to yell along to is Beautiful Soul by Jesse McCartney. I definitely spend too much time learning new things for work so working on trying to put the work down at night 😅
