If you’re reading this, hi. I am a single 35 year old caregiver looking for some sort of connection and companionship. I jumped from an incredibly stressful full time job to taking care of a parent & I’ve been mostly isolated in my rural town for the last 5 years. Things are starting to look like my parent will need full time care at a facility, so I'd like to get back to taking care of myself a little more (and maybe my partner?)

Ideally I would like a long term relationship, but I miss having friends in general. Having silly conversations & someone to watch movies with. Feeling excited when I get notifications instead of dreading or annoyed opening texts bc it’s just junk. My social skills are rusty & honestly some days I just don’t have the battery for it. I realize that’s not a glowing review of myself but I just want to be honest. I’m still in here, I’m just tired af.

Me: 5’5, animal lover, regularly has crazy hair color, likes to read, nerdy, quiet until I’m comfortable, enjoys most music, video games, crafting, motorcycles. I am open to trying most things at least once as long as it won’t leave me with a hefty hospital bill. 😅 Leans left, not religious, child free (don’t mind them just can’t have them) and dog mom. I run a small business making jewelry on a laser, but I'm also interested in metal smithing and working on learning to code.
