It's one of those nights. Those very, very quiet nights when I've had a couple drinks and I'm a few hours deep into a playlist that makes me remember. And remember.
I wonder what songs make you remember. What they make you remember. It's almost the end of summer. You can smell it in the air—the threat of rain and chilly mornings and seeing every exhale. And I still want to know what secrets you exhale. What secrets you keep so close you can only say them with your eyes closed. The secrets you hear in your head when a train passes. The secrets you hide because you've been saving them for someone.
