Hello! I know the definition of complement technically means to complete something, but hopefully you understand what I'm getting at.

I'm looking for a whole person, who would continue to be a whole person even if I sublimated off the face of the earth one day. Someone independent, but interested in sharing their time with me. Someone with interests that don't have to be the same as mine (though it's great if we share some!), but interests none-the-less.

A bit about me: I live north of Boston with my two dogs, one cat, one bird, and fish tank. I'm about 2 years post divorce, and close to 4 years out of that relationship total.

I'm liberal politically, with a strong lean towards progressive. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: these are politicians I vibe with. I believe in all the rights; human, reproductive, gender, wage equality, racial.

I have a background in studio art and a career working with art in museums. I been diving full force into getting my creative mojo back the last couple years and have been enjoying photography, ceramics, 3D printing, paper making, wood working, and I have plans to explore sewing (thanks for the second hand sewing machine mom!).

I'm a fan of the outdoors, and enjoy a moderate hike. I also like to bike and kayak. I've gotten some really fun photographs from my kayak. I enjoy finding a spot, and sitting quietly until, if I'm lucky, some of the critters forget I'm there and I get to see them going about their daily activities.

I'm pretty much a life long sci-fi/fantasy fan, and enjoy almost all that genre has to offer popular culture. I used to bring my DnD books to my Catholic grade school way back when it wasn't so popular, lol. 😈 I also enjoy the Marvel and DC cinematic universes, though I never quite got into the actual comics.

I'm a reformed gamer, I played most of the major MMORPGs starting with Asheron's Call. Now I try and make time for single player games now and again, but there aren't enough hours/days in the week it feels like.
