How's it, 30plus? Hope Monday treated you well. Now here are some random bullet points...

• I keep an expired costco membership card in my wallet in case I ever find myself next to a costco so I can flash it and get a 1.50 hot dog/drink combo from the cafe. I do this even though I can just walk through the exit and never show my card anyway. I also haven't been to costco in like two years.
• I have two kiddos who are fucking lovely. I know I'm biased but goddamn they're awesome. They spend most days with their mother, and we co-parent very well.
• I sleep with my alexa device playing rain sounds. I need that sweet, sweet ambient noise so I don't fixate on faint sounds. And unless it's a cold winter night, my blanket is the flat sheet. That may sound weird, but to me you year-round comforter users are fucking weird.
• I'm tall, broad and in much better shape than I was last year. I try to make sure I get 10k steps and at least an hour of exercise every evening unless my kids are spending the night.
• I was kinda popular on twitter for a while. It was truly miserable for my mental health but hey I made Tahani from The Good Place laugh. Seriously though, fuck that shit. Besides reddit (if you even count it), I've had no social media for years and I'm quite happier for it.
• If we vibe, I'll try to talk to you on telegram. There I can send dumb voice notes and impromptu shitty memes that create on the spot as our conversation progresses.
• I'm excited for Better Call Saul tonight. Four episodes left and I'm realizing it may be the finest show ever made. Yup, better than Breaking Bad for those keeping track.
• I think empathy is the most attractive quality a person can have. So yeah, my political beliefs are very much leftist.
• I'm single and looking for friends but very open to more if it happens. Que sera, sera.
