I recently moved to Florida, about three months ago, and I don't really know anyone in the area. If I get covid it's likely to actually kill me, yay asthma, especially because I'm the type to avoid going to the doctor unless things really look like shit for me. So I handle the pandemic with a healthy dose of caution. As such it's kind of hard to meet people. Plus I'm an introvert so I don't really want to have to go outside anyway.

I'm an open-minded person, ridiculous and serious all at the same time, charismatic (so I'm told), easily amused, and not without mental health issues. I'm black, and I hate posting pictures on Reddit but I'm not against sharing one of that's important to you.

I'm looking for someone to talk to on a fairly regular basis that doesn't contribute to my desire to walk into traffic. Ignorance, meaning a lack of information, I will never have a real problem with. Stupidity, meaning an unwillingness to learn and/or accept new information, I will always have a problem with.

I really like figuring out how people look at and process the world. I think it's pretty important to understand other people's perspectives even if you don't agree with them.

I've recently been exploring the world of cooking. Trying to fix my diet one step at a time. I game infrequently these days it really depends on what I have the energy for in the day. Lately I'm pretty tapped out. Looking into dabbling with pottery or woodworking. Not sure which way I'm gonna go yet.

Prefer discord for communication, as I really don't like reddit messages. Open to suggestions. Local would be cool for the potential to hang out, but I'll take what I can get.
