Wanna-be Renaissance Man Seeking His Mona Lisa!

I'm looking for a Muse with the correct alchemical mix of personality, interests, goals, and attraction to turn my leaden existence into gold! Are you my Philosopher's Stone?

I live north of Boston, just me and my collection of misfits pets. I have two dogs, two cats, two birds, and a large fish tank (possibly two soon...). I'm definitely an animal lover!

I have an amazing job at a Museum in Boston that I'm incredibly thankful for. It provides me with a lot of joy and an outlet for my creativity. It combines Art and Science in a way that keeps me very engaged and challenged in a positive way.

I also have a second job which helps me make ends meet. It's significantly less interesting, haha.

I'm a creative person full of ideas that sometimes are realized, lol. I know my way around most tools and can put them to use in ways like having remodeled my kitchen, furniture building, jewelry making, and other fun stuff. Most recently I've gotten my creativity out with photography, specifically nature photography. I even won an honorable mention for a photograph of a Nut Hatch!

I think in order for anything to have a real chance at developing, both parties need to approach from a place where they are each unique, satisfied individuals who are looking for someone to share their time with while maintaining their sense of 'self'.

I love to learn about other people and I'm happy to explore their interests alongside them. However, I'm also fine with someone I'm involved with having 'private interests' that I only hear about via conversation. I wouldn't demand someone take an active interest in participating in everything I'm passionate about but I would appreciate someone who enjoys my excitement regardless. I can gaurentee that I'll be supportive and interested in your passions, having the same from someone else would be excellent!

My love of animals also translates into a love of the outdoors and nature in general. I'm not an accomplished hiker, and haven't hiked all the peaks in NH or anything, but I do enjoy getting outdoors and enjoying the various nature spots around me. Sometimes I take my camera with me and find a lot of joy in snapping photos of wild life.

I'm also a fan of enjoying nature by bike, or in a kayak.

I'm a sci-fi/fantasy fan and enjoy most things associated with those genres. This is one of those areas where I wouldn't NEED someone to share this interest with me but if I'm excited about a book or show I wouldn't want to feel tuned out babbling a bit about it, ha.

I'm a reformed gamer. I used to play almost all the various MMORPGs but I just don't have the time to dedicate to it. I've picked up a few games that can be played solo over the last few years and definitely have some favorites. It's nice to be able to enjoy a game for an hour or so and put it down and not be beholden to some four hour raid on a dungeon!

Speaking of free time, I work about 60 hours a week, and I have three long 18 hour days. Definitely a fact I feel I should disclose. I like to think I'm responsive and entertaining via text and I would certainly make what free time I have a priority for the right person. I also need some alone time, not specifically from my partner but just from people in general. Someone confident enough in themselves to be ok with those things would be important.

Also, because I know physical attraction is important, I'm 5'7" and 'stocky'. Not every woman's ideal, which I totally get! I like to say, self deprecatingly, that I'm short, dark, and homely, lol. You're welcome to judge my photo harshly, haha.

While I wouldn't write off starting something long distance, if there seemed to be a really strong connection, I'm definitely focused on finding someone close enough that we can meet in person.
