Divorced for 11 years from my high school sweetheart whom I was with for 14 years, and I've been hesitant to get back out there. Dating in my 30s (now 40s) is SO much different than it was in my teens. I'd consider myself an extroverted introvert and am usually horribly awkward around new people.

I'm a single dad with primary custody of 3 teenagers. I usually have every other weekend free, but they're all old enough to take care of themselves should I want to make plans during the week. Their events and activities will always come first, and if you have kids, I totally understand that their stuff will always come first for you. My daughter is a cheerleader and one of my sons is in band...so they're busiest in the fall, but the summer is wide open.

Likes: comic books, TV shows, movies, music, concerts, holding hands, cooking, alcohol (I feel I have to qualify this...I enjoy and appreciate good beers and liquors. I don't drink to get drunk, and I don't drink all the time.). I'd consider myself 420 friendly, even though I've never had the opportunity to partake. If you're into harder substances, I don't think we'd be a good match.

Dislikes: idiot drivers, conspiracy theories...I know that's not a lot, but I try to be a live-and-let-live type of person.

Now, as to what I'm looking for...ultimately, I'd like to find my forever person. I have dated very little...VERY LITTLE...since the divorce. I'm open to messaging/texting for a bit initially or meeting relatively quickly if our schedules match up. This is new and honestly kind of scary for me, so right now I'm comfortable to move at whatever speed YOU'RE comfortable with. I HAVE found out that long distance doesn't work for me.
