My birthday is in six days, and I'm pretty excited to turn 35. Yes, that is right, I am not dreading getting older. Compared to my 20s, my 30s have been pretty alright. I have better relationships with my friends, my parents, and myself. And I'm here to add some more good relationships to my life!

Here is some random junk about me, in list form:

• Neither life nor myself are things that I take horribly seriously.
• My issues do not define me.
• I'm not here because I'm bored, I actually want to connect with my fellow human beings.
• I typically find what people do for work to be among the least interesting things about them.
• People who label themselves conservative usually don't like me much. It's mutual.
• I'm black and I'm fat, so if these two things impede your ability to be friends with someone, you've been warned.
• I have no expectation that we will talk for a long time. I do like cultivating longer relationships, but people do come and go. I'm not for everyone, and not everyone is for me. No point in getting wrapped up in it, in my opinion.
• I'm single and have no children. I don't care if you are or do. Everyone needs friends. I also don't care where you live (although it is easier to stay in touch with people in adjacent time zones), where you fall on the gender spectrum, what race you are, how you look, or about any of that other stuff people use to separate themselves from others. I am 100% focused on your personality and how you present yourself.
• This can be as anonymous or as personal as you want it to be, from never exchanging names or pictures to texts/phone calls/video chats.
