Spending my Sunday with my sister’s family, just enjoying the moment, no expectations, no overthinking—just being present. But of course, that didn’t stop me from getting teased relentlessly when we ended up watching celebrity proposals.
At 37, I’m very much at peace with being single, though my baby boomer relatives still see it as some sort of life glitch 😂. I’ve never been the type to feel pressured about it, and while I do put myself out there once in a blue moon—maybe once or twice a year, three times if I’m feeling particularly social—being single has just been my norm.
What’s funny (or mildly frustrating) is that I’ve actually been proposed to multiple times. You’d think that would’ve changed things, but nope, still here, still solo. Meanwhile, I’m sure those former suitors are off living their best married lives. Life’s got a sense of humor, I guess.
Anyway, if you’re up for good conversation, some laughs, and seeing where things go—no pressure, no grand expectations—but who knows? Hit me up buttercup.
