Surreal that things are falling apart and yet the day to day remains the same. I understand why in the Discworld series saying "May you live in interesting times" was an insult.

I keep forgetting the day of the week, they sort of run together into one thing. Mostly the same one day to the next.

I recently listened to all but the last ACOTAR books, one of them twice. I got so absorbed into the story I devoured them all within a week. My other reading includes Full Catastrophe Living, a guide to mindfulness based stress reduction that my dad gifted me. Today I tried listening to some new audible books, but couldn't get into any of them.

I kind of want to disconnect from everything, move to a remote cabin, and spend my days painting and writing. Instead I am maintaining good attendance and a reasonable work ethic at my day job while plotting how to best make my coaching business so wildly successful i can move to said cabin and paint and write.

I prefer iced matcha lattes with caramel to coffee.

I haven't played a ttrpg in years, but have fond memories of WOD LARPing in college. I occasionally fuck around in skyrim or baldurs gate.

I aim to workout or do something active every day. This happens about 85% of the time. Yoga, kettlebell, workout bands, stationary bike, in nice weather walkimg and running. I have an interest in martial arts, but need a regular sparring partner to improve. Solo practice and solo exercise is not my favorite.

I am on the far side of liberal and voted for Harris. I'm pro all the liberal and socialist things. I'd be an anarchist like Noam Chomsky describes, but, as we are seeing in real time, people are fuckwits more than half the time.

I like clothes, fashion, makeup, jewelry, and styling outfits but know next to nothing about specific designers or styles or trends. If I like a piece I wear it.

I have an adult kid (19) and 3 cats.

I tend towards positive solution based thinking. I believe in dreams come true and miracles. An occasional vent sess can be cathartic, but not more than once on the same topic.

I'm currently single, but not necessarily looking to mingle. I'm here for chats that might last 5 minutes or 5 years. I'm not fucked up about how long we talk for and I have zero expectations of outcomes. If one of us ghosts nbd.
