Hello there 👋
You know the anticipation between meetings and phone calls with your person? The comfort of being close. Lazy weekends together. Traveling together and sharing a kiss before takeoff, excited to embark on a new adventure. All of that is the "good part" of being in a relationship, and I miss that. Do you?
I'm hoping to meet someone who is open to all of this and then some. Life is good! I have a career I'm excited about and a supportive circle. It would be amazing to meet someone to build a partnership with.
I'm often described as warm and nurturing. I've built a wonderful career working with children, and although I do not yet have bio kids, I really enjoy being around them. I was previously married and know that relationships take work - work that I am prepared to invest.
About me:
I am 5'3 and around 120 lbs. - I'm slim with some curves. I have black Afro hair. Also, I have Caribbean heritage!
I enjoy cooking and maintaining a comfortable home. I am also on the healthier side of things in terms of diet - I've received many compliments on my veggie dishes. I don't drink or smoke and I like to take walks and work out to remain fit.
I read voraciously! I'm currently reading 'Attached' by Amir Levine and it's got me thinking about how people build meaningful connections. Would love to hear your thoughts if you've read it, or tell me about a book that's shaped your perspective on relationships and life.
About you: - You're single and unattached - You lead with kindness - You've received the compliment "damn, he smells good!" once or twice - You're "nerdy" - I've always had this magnetic pull toward STEM minds (though I'm definitely open to other paths!). There's something about the way technical minds approach problems that fascinates me. What I value most is intellectual curiosity and that special kind of nerdiness that makes long conversations fly by.
If this resonates with you, please reach out. Happy to send a photo as well. Take care and be well!
