This feels like I am watching a government coup and there is a sense of surrealism or maybe defeat already. Trump 1.0, they did not know what they were doing. The systems held up. But now, they came in knowing what to dismantle.
Some of those things they are breaking are not easy to put back. Some will probably never be fixed.
I am sure that is the point.
We are watching it all burn now. I suppose let's toast and have a drink. What else can we do?
