Hi Reddit,

My name is Ray, I'm 37 Filipino and about 5'4. My bday is coming up next week and I'm looking for a date and hopefully a new connection. Dating has been terribly hard. Tried pretty much all the main dating apps. I don't want children and seeking the DINK life. I feel I have all this love inside me and want to share it with someone I really care about. People at work tell me I'm the nicest guy at work and wonder why I'm not in a relationship. They always say our boss needs to be happy.

Here's some info on me, I'm a nurse/manager for a senior living community and love my job. I'm pretty much a geek so I love video games, anime, movies, and tv. I listen to all kinds of music like emo, punk, alt., indie, EDM, and the occasional mainstream stuff. I'm a bit of a homebody, but love to go out if the vibe is right and of course to have fun.

I'm almost 40 and dating is hard, but i definitely do not want to give up.
