Hey. So I'm getting back in the dating scene after my separation last year. I haven't been in the 'dating' scene for over ten years and it's very overwhelming. But I need to get back out there. I deserve to be happy too, right?

I'm 33 and in a small village in Essex, UK. I'm a single dad of 3 and have my own home, car, and have a good professional job in London. I'm ambitious, and want to do well within my career.

I'm around 5'6/7, have brown hair, slim, nerdy round glasses and a bit of a beard (which I'm not precious about.) I have three children who I share custody of with their mum and I'm very much an active, involved dad who is very proud of the kids I have.

When I'm not doing school runs or working, I like to meet with friends, go for a drink, go for a walk, listen to music, play the occasional video game, or go somewhere nice to eat. My days of clubbing well and truly ended in my early 20's and its a scene that just wasn't for me. I'd much rather a drink and conversation where we can hear one another.

The one thing now missing in my life is that person who I can be obsessed with, can't wait to hear from, text all the time when we are apart and can't wait to see and spend time with, or even come home to, or they come home to me.

I like to think of myself as kind, caring, patient, loyal and loving. I feel like I'm a bit of a traditionalist and a hopeless romantic. I can be quite dry and sarcastic at times. And I love a good joke and a giggle. I want something long term, but have to start out somewhere.
